Early September.
Golden season in the Swiss Alps.
The air felt crisp,
the light soft and golden.
That in-between time when summer slowly turns to autumn. 🍂
We stayed at W Verbier,
and honestly, it was everything I love about Switzerland….
beautiful nature, tradition, and modern luxury, all in one place.

Our room looked right out to the mountains and the valley.
From the balcony, I could watch the gondolas pass by,
floating quietly over the rooftops. 🚡
The interior design at W Verbier feels like a modern take on a Swiss chalet.
Warm wood, sleek lines, and soft lighting create that perfect blend of cosy and cool.
Touches of red and plaid bring in a playful Alpine spirit,
while the details (from the fireplace to the designer lamps) make it feel effortlessly stylish.
It’s the kind of room where you instantly feel at home,
but also a little spoiled. ✨

At W Verbier we discovered Le Spa. A 1,300 m² alpine sanctuary dedicated to calm and comfort.
It has two heated pools (one indoor-outdoor), steam rooms and saunas including one with Himalayan salt, and nine treatment rooms.
I floated for a little while in warm water and truly enjoyed the moments of stillness in the mountains.

After the spa, I slipped into my bathrobe and stepped onto the balcony.
Just in time for golden hour.
The sky turned soft and warm, the peaks glowing in shades of pink and gold.
Everything felt quiet. Peaceful.
That perfect in-between moment when the day slows down and the world looks a little more magical.

Verbier itself has such a special rhythm.
Calm during the day and alive during the night.
You can stroll through little mountain streets,
browse local shops,
or just sit and watch the clouds drift by.

And the best part? Arctic Juice & Café is right next door…
so your next matcha oat milk latte is never far away. 😉

One morning, we took the Barnes Line (Médran 4) gondola,
right across from the hotel,
up to 2,200 metres above sea level.
The view? Pure magic. 🏔️
From there, we hiked to La Chaux,
an easy, scenic 45-minute trail.
It felt peaceful, golden, endless.
And in winter, this same path becomes a ski slope,
which makes it even more fascinating to see in summer.

If you’re looking for a place that feels both stylish and soulful,
W Verbier is it.
A perfect mountain escape,
where design meets nature.
I absolutely loved it.
One of those stays that stay with you.
And yes… I’ll definitely be back. 😍
