Tokyo.
A city that never really stops.
A rhythm of lights, movement, and detail.
And somewhere above it all, on the 42nd floor of the Tokyo Midtown Yaesu Tower, I found stillness.
Bvlgari Hotel Tokyo has that effect, it pulls you into calm the moment you arrive.
It’s a place where Italian elegance meets Japanese sophistication.
Two cultures that both understand beauty in its purest, most intentional form.

From the first moment, everything felt different.
My driver pulled up to the private entrance.
A security guard stepped forward, quietly announcing my arrival upstairs.
When the elevator doors opened on the 40th floor, two tall black doors opened automatically.
A discreet Japanese hostess greeted me with a warm smile and guided me straight upstairs to my suite for an in-room check-in.
No queuing up at the reception. No forms to fill out. Just calm efficiency, and that unmistakable sense that everything is already taken care of.
Such a smooth, seamless transition from the busy streets below to complete calm.
The kind of welcome that makes you feel like a VIP.

The door closed behind me, and I instantly knew…
I was going to love it here!!
Golden tones, soft light, a palette of wood and warmth.
Everything felt perfectly balanced.
Sophisticated but not sterile, elegant but never excessive.
Floor-to-ceiling windows opened to a skyline that seemed to go on forever.
The Imperial Palace gardens below,
and the endless geometry of Tokyo’s towers stretching into the horizon.

The design was unmistakably Bvlgari: contemporary, sculptural, and infused with quiet confidence.
Touches of craftsmanship everywhere.
Handwoven textiles and a curated minibar filled with Niko Romito delicacies, cookies, smoothies, fine teas and Bvlgari chocolates.
On the desk, a personal note with fresh fruit.
In the wardrobe, a Dyson Supersonic waiting beside the vanity mirror.
Evening turn-down came with thoughtful details, a new tea blend, delicate scent, soft music.
It’s rare to find a hotel that understands luxury as a feeling, not a display.
But Bvlgari Tokyo does.

I could have sat there by the window all day.
Sipping green tea, watching Tokyo unfold beneath me.
But the spa was calling.
So I packed my swimsuit and…
And… wow!!
Bvlgari Spa Tokyo is pure serenity above the clouds.
A 1,000-square-metre wellness sanctuary on the 40th floor.
The moment I walked in, everything felt softer.
The light, the sound, even the air.

I spent hours between the pool, the vitality baths, and the relaxation area…
the daylight slowly faded into the soft glow of Tokyo at night.

When I returned to my room that evening, Tokyo had transformed.
The skyline shimmered… a sea of lights stretching endlessly into the night.
I slipped into bed, the city glowing beneath me, and just watched.
There was something hypnotic about it.
Powerful yet calm, like the world was holding its breath.

The next morning, breakfast was served in my room.
A traditional Japanese set, presented with such grace it almost felt like a ceremony.
Every detail (from the perfectly grilled salmon to the delicate pickles and miso soup) reflected the same precision and calm as the hotel itself.
I loved how unhurried it felt.
Just me, the soft morning light, and the view of the city slowly waking up.
It was one of those moments where you realise… this is luxury. Not excess, but intention.

Later, I stopped by the Bvlgari Bar.
One of the most beautiful bars I’ve ever seen.
Walls covered in hand-laid mosaic tiles, golden tones glowing softly in the afternoon light.
It’s elegant but never stiff.
I watched the bartender craft mine with quiet precision, each movement deliberate, almost poetic.
Sipping it by the window, with the skyline stretching beyond the glass, I thought…
this is what the essence of Bvlgari feels like in Tokyo: refined, radiant, and full of soul.

As the sun set behind Mount Fuji, the city softened into shades of gold and violet.
From up here, Tokyo felt almost weightless.
Like a secret only I could see.
It’s moments like this that remind me why I travel:
to feel small, alive, and endlessly inspired. ✨

Bvlgari Hotel Tokyo isn’t just a place to stay.
It’s a masterpiece in the sky.
A sanctuary above the city, reminding you that true luxury is not louder… just deeper.
