Bvlgari Hotel Roma

Filed in Hotel, Italy  /  May 10, 2025 /

Rome had been on my list for a while.

(my last visit has been more than 15 years ago)

But this trip wasn’t about sightseeing.

It was about staying somewhere special.

The newly opened Bvlgari Hotel Roma, which welcomed its first guests in June 2023.

It’s located in a restored rationalist-style building on Piazza Augusto Imperatore.

Within the Bvlgari Hotels & Resorts collection it’s the ninth jewel.

After falling in love with Bvlgari Hotel Tokyo,
I promised myself I’d visit their Roman home too.

And this May, that wish came true.

Just my husband and I.
No plans.
No rush.

Just Rome… and Bvlgari.

A place where history meets modern grace.

And yes, it’s even more beautiful in person. ✨

Their driver picked us up from the airport.

We arrived in the afternoon sun, the marble façade glowing softly.

Inside, the noise of the city disappeared…. replaced by that familiar Bvlgari stillness.

Check-in was effortless, smiles genuine.
And our Junior Suite… just beautiful.

The first thing I noticed was the marble.

Each suite has its own palette of rare Mediterranean stones, ours glowed golden.

Yellow Brocatelle from the Middle East, red jasper from Sudan,
green quartzite and creamy white from Brazil.

It felt timeless.

Roman, yet modern.

Rooftop Aperitivo

We watched the sunset from the Bvlgari Bar on the rooftop.

Life music / DJ, golden light, and aperitivo italiano served with grace,
arancini, bruschetta, parmesan, olives, and sparkling drinks.

As the sky turned pink over the domes of Rome,
we toasted to life, to love, to Italy.

It felt like the essence of “La dolce vita”.

And then, the little details that make Bvlgari, Bvlgari.

Each evening, during turn-down service,
a silver tray appeared with a different tea blend.

Vanilla rooibos one night, citrus and rose the next.
A small ritual, but one that made the room feel like home.

Those gestures stay with you. ✨

The Spa

The Bvlgari Spa is inspired by ancient Roman baths, with marble, mosaic, gold, and soft light everywhere.

We had a couples massage, followed by quiet time in the emerald pool.

It was deeply relaxing, the kind of peace you only find in a place like this.

Breakfast

Breakfast was everything I love about mornings in Italy…

fresh fruit, pastries, pancakes, eggs, salmon avocado toast, chia pudding and cappuccinos with PERFECT foam.

We lingered by the window, before we visited the Colosseum.

What This Stay Meant to Me

This was my second stay at a Bvlgari Hotel,
and I love the brand even more now.

Every detail feels considered… the tea at night, the marble that glows, the staff who greet you by name.

It’s ultra-luxury, but it’s also warmth and soul.

If you want to experience Rome at its most elegant and calm,
stay at Bvlgari Hotel Roma.

Dine at Niko Romito, unwind in the spa, watch the sunset from the rooftop…
and you’ll understand why this place is so special. 🤍
